God quotes lots of people, not all of them very nice people, that doesn't make His book any less inspired. That His book is brutally honest about the hero's failings even when the hero's name is on the cover, so to speak, shows just how inspired it is!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33325729.post-1161746477573692442006-10-24T21:21:00.000-06:002006-10-24T21:21:00.000-06:00Carizz, I don't think bad about Jews. Anon's Jewishness has nothing to do with trolling, but merely made obvious by their spelling God as G-d. I was just pointing out the person who wrote that wasn't a Christian for anyone who hasn't realized we're in public now and the devil will send trolls to persecute us.

If you think I'm over the top, Adam and I were once cyber-fed to the lions and I am not making that up. I was nothing but nice and loving and kind towards these people (it took supernatural help!) That got us downgraded to a kitten feed.

Here, I just got mad, cause I felt like this person was picking on a sweet young lady who provokes protective feelings in me for some reason. Frankly, I'm the least happy of all with that side of my personality and it does take loving brethern to help me hold it in check.

And btw, inspired means God actually did write the bible, albeit through human intermediaries. All scripture is god-breathed. The words the authors wrote came directly from the throne of God. Isn't it interesting that God chose the story format--albeit a true story--rather than just having everyone write treastes like the Apostle Paul?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33325729.post-1161690706875744392006-10-24T05:51:00.000-06:002006-10-24T05:51:00.000-06:00And also, please don't think bad about the Jews. It made me laugh so I thought it was you. :D

Well anyway, my friend Anonymous here is right. God didn't write the Bible. However, God did inspire those people who wrote the books in the Bible.

I was tempted to say the Bible was the words of God Himself but I don't want to get caught up in another legality by quoting to me the words of Satan in the book of Job or Matthew or wherever else you find his words. Hehe.

So yes, I stand on the ground that the Bible is inspired by God. And yes, it is life changing.driftwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15986071336281224733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33325729.post-1161643287622945442006-10-23T16:41:00.000-06:002006-10-23T16:41:00.000-06:00Anonymous,Thank you for presenting your opinion. -...Anonymous,

Thank you for presenting your opinion.

--cyncynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15514785429568086047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33325729.post-1161629647176574162006-10-23T12:54:00.000-06:002006-10-23T12:54:00.000-06:00Driftwood--That wasn't me. And as that's the case, he doesn't receive regular income.

But God is our portion.

There was once a time when we didn't have food in the house. After we prayed and praised God for His love, my Dad opened the door. A cat clutching a plastic bag with its teeth slugged forward and left the plastic bag to our doorstep. My dad looked inside the bag and a fat fish lied fresh and dead at the bottom of it.

Elijah was fed by vultures. But we were fed by a cat. :D

It's true Andrea, our God is a miracle-working God! And yes, thanks for spelling my name correctly. :D

Grace, may His truth shines through our fiction. As writers, we imitate our father, in creating shadows that hopefully reflect His Truth....

And let us never forget we still serve a wonder-working god!
