News for September 13th 2010

Ellen Maze says: As some of you know, I wrote a 4-part Christian vampire series from 2004 to 2008, and submitted it a half a dozen times over the years. I got plenty of rejections, but in 2009, some really good nibbles on it; requests to see more, to see a book proposal, etc. Now, after twenty edits and a few major character overhauls, "THE JUDGING The Corescu Chronicles Book One" found a taker in TreasureLine Books. Since this is a small house that uses POD technology, we should be seeing this book on the shelf before the end of the year. God bless you all and let's keep writing what the Lord puts in our hearts! LINK: http://www.ellencmaze.com/news-flash.php

You can also read a fascinating (funny!) interview and review with Ellen's characters at the New Authors Fellowship, thanks to Diane Graham:

But wait! Ellen's not done yet! She's running a contest to give away a copy of The Judging:

The trailer for the next Narnia movie has appeared: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. So far it's just at Facebook: http://bit.ly/9IHJEG and gives Lewis fans plenty to ponder. How come we see Susan and Peter in there? And Jadis the White Witch, for that matter, she's supposed to have died! And where's the dragon? But it looks like the effects are even better than the previous ones.
