News for July 23rd 2010

Marcher Lord Press has signed veteran SF author Kathy Tyers, adding to the rest of the big news this year so far. Check out the full press release at http://hubpages.com/hub/Marcher-Lord-Press-Signs-Author-Kathy-Tyers

Keven Newsome of the New Authors Fellowship has this to say:
On September 1, one of our founding members, PA Baines, will have his novel released by Splashdown Books. Since NAF is a joint blog for unpublished authors by unpublished authors, well... he no longer will be unpublished. We'll be moving him to "Alumni" status.
So, we're going to need a new featured author! The major prerequisite is that you are unpublished AND you have a completed manuscript. There are a few other things, but I'll discuss those with you if you're interested.
Anyone who is interested in joining The New Authors' Fellowship, send me an email at nafblog.info@gmail.com
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know a new author!

Terri Main says: I'm going to be interviewed today at The Author Alcove. Why not drop by. I'll be talking about my book Dark Side of the Moon, my short stories, my writing process and a bunch of other stuff I forgot. I'll be reading to find out what I said. It's always a bit of a surprise to me. :-)

LGG member Phillip Campbell gets his book included in the Arx Publishing catalog.
This is hopefully the first step in creating some wider appeal for self-published fantasy-epic Tale of Manaeth , a novel written in the old-school archaic language of Silmarillion that tells the story of a young princess's quest to save her people from enslavement and annihilation. You can check out the Arx catalog here (second book down).
